Weekend Filming

It was another fun weekend for Funbox. This weekend we filmed two more Baldric and Balthazar sketches. While their plots are absolutely secret (take that Ain't It Cool News) I can tell you there was fake blood on apartment carpet and, as always, Matt ended up mostly naked at one point.

The Baldric and Balthazar sketches should be up soon, but before then, tune in for this Thursday's video where we see what really happened with Christopher Columbus asked for all those ships.

Nice Outfits

This weekend, we shot four videos in which Willie and Matt, dressed like the above photo, dubbed themselves Baldric and Balthazar, and spent the entire time tormenting Paul. Once edited, the videos will provide a lot of insight into any murders Paul commits in his future.

Once upon a time, Willie noticed the budget was getting out of hand. “It’s not so much the price of filming, or the large quantities of calamine lotion we give our guest stars in lieu of financial compensation. It’s the dinners we’ve been feeding our friends complete with fresh produce and herbs!”

“What can we do?” Paul wondered aloud. “We can’t stop giving our friends calamine lotion, fresh produce and herbs! We’re trying to maintain a level of professionalism.”

“I know,” said Matt. “Money doesn’t grow on trees, and nether does factory bottled calamine lotion!”

“No it doesn’t,” Willie said. “But fresh produce and herbs often grown on trees and in bushes. And some of those bushes can be put in pots. And some of those pots can be put on our patio!”

So the boys of FunBox ran and they ran and they ran, all the way until they could get to the gardening store. And thus began their great and wonderful porch gardening adventure.

Wow. It's been a month since we've blogged. Sorry about that, guess we've been pretty blogged down lately. Oh the blog jokes! Seriously though, we know you guys have been surviving on your own fan fiction for far too long as you've prayed and plead for expansion of FunBox Universe. Rest assured, the new stuff's coming soon.

What new stuff? Oh I dunno, have you ever seen talking bottles of mustard and ketchup in their own video blog? Bet not. Bet you will soon.

Ever been to space? Well we have, and we totally friggen taped it.

And guess what! We've been shooting with Honest Abe again!

Yeah we haven't gone anywhere. In fact, we've been working with a new director, named Adytia, who's so high powered, he wears sandals like all the time. And we filmed a short with our friend, Conner, who looks so much like a for reals scientist that we were surprised he didn't start inventing the crap out of stuff on set.

So check back soon for some totally sweet ketchup and mustard action. It'll be up in a week or so, and afterward well...hold on to your butts. Lots of new stuff is coming soon.
